Prada Violet Stripes Lambskin Bag
For this upcoming fall, purple hued bags are definitely going to be a hot trend. I’ve already seen so many different shades and textures of the color, ranging from glossy, crinkled deep purple to buttery, smooth vibrant purple leather. And here we have the Prada Violet Stripes lambskin bag, which is a gorgeous tone. I like this purse because it’s simple, but really stands out from the violet and textured leather with stripes. Also, I love the golden Prada logo because I think it’s a nice little accent to the purple.

This beauty is made of supple lambskin, which means it’s extra soft. Though at the same time, it’s also extra delicate and can scratch easily. But really, who doesn’t like soft buttery leather? Anyways, it has a magnetic snap closure at the top, which adds a little secuirty. Though I’d personally prefer a zippered closure. It measures 16″ x 13″ x 5.5″, which is a great everyday size to fit what you need to carry. Overall, I’m really loving the style of this Prada peice. Oh, and before I forget, I’ll add that this one is on sale for $1,640 or 20% off the original price over at Bluefly. Marc Jacobs Dr. Q Grace Bag
I believe that a great handbag should be comfortable, durable and if it carries a designer name, then that’s definitely a plus! I ran into one of these bags online today; meet the Dr. Q Grace Bag by Marc by Marc Jacobs. Something I just love about the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is the fact that its accessories are crafted from excellent and durable quality. They are also available in a wide variety of styles and affordable prices. With that said, you don’t need to spend $1,000+ to get a great bag for your money.

I recently learned that the Dr. Q Grace Bag is online exclusively on eLuxury (dot com). What do you gals think about this bag? As I look at it, I think its great. Comfortable shoulder straps, a silver metal logo plate, and a sheen grained leather body are all great features found on the Grace. You will have to dig a bit into your pockets since this piece does hold a $428 price tag, but for this bag, you’re sure to get your moneys worth. Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Milla Pochette PM
I don’t like little handbags, in fact I pretty much despise him. I occasionally use a small handbag when I go out at night, or simply do not want to carry a lot. It’s not very often but sometimes I can’t help but fall in love with some overly small bags. One of those bags I have fallen in love with is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Milla Pochette PM. Yes, it may be microscopic for a bag, but it’s perfect for when you don’t need to carry much at all. Some people may consider it an accessory, but with the adorable chain in comes with, I must say, I disagree with them. The chain strap is big enough to be adjusted for shoulder, wrist, or clutch carry. Obviously, being a small bag it doesn’t give you the pleasure of carrying a lot, but does allow you to carry your essentials. The most this bag holds is a cell phone, compact, some cash, and your favorite lip gloss. For a tiny bag the price of $355 is a little steep, but if you are a Louis Vuitton collector you will definitely want this cute little bag in your growing collection.

The Mulberry Maggie Tote
Okay, since when does Shop Bop carry Mulberry? I was browsing over on their website the other day and, to my astonishment, this lovely Mulberry bag popped up on the screen (its located in the Designer Boutique section). So what is this bag called? It’s the Mulberry Maggie Tote, one of only two styles Shop Bop currently has to offer. I can only hope that they will be expanding their selection sometime in the near future!

So what does everyone think of Mulberry’s Maggie Tote? I personally find the style very refreshing. It is quite different from the typical Mulberry style — so sleek and modern. This bag is totally work-ready. Not only is it sophisticated and professional looking, it’s the perfect size to fit file folders and a laptop. What more could a girl ask for?

The Mulberry Maggie Tote measures 15″ x 13″ x 3.5″. The adjustable turnlock closure on the front flap pocket allows for storage of bulky accessories and the interior multifunction pockets keep you organized. The Mulberry Maggie Tote is available in three colors: Raspberry (Slick Spazzalato Leather), Stone (Polished Goatskin Leather), and Black (Polished Goatskin Leather). Fendi Vintage Leather Olsen Twins Tote
This bag is destined to become a hit. Meet the new Vintage Leather Twin Tote, named suitably after the Olsen twins who made the real vintage exotic crocodile version a popular sought-after piece. Remember Ashley was photographed with this bag almost every other day a couple years back? I don’t remember seeing a photograph of the vintage Croc beauty on MK’s arm, of course they’re sisters and share bags, so it is probable that this bag made it over to MK’s closet for a brief time. (If you browse through the archive photos of celebrities with their bags over in TBF you will spot each MK and Ash sporting each other’s arm candy.) Although, it’s such a gorgeous day tote, that I wouldn’t be surprised if Ash kept that beauty all for herself. I would!

Now, I as well as you (and even MK) have a chance to get your hands on the Olsen-Style tote! Fendi just re-released the vintage style tote for fall, available in regular leather over at eluxury.

If you’re still craving the exotic version contact fendi, I’m sure if you are dying to have it in crocodile, they will special order it for you. Although that’s not going to come cheap, it might cost you a hefty amount. I personally would rather try my luck at scoring the real vintage exotic crocodile version on eBay. It will be worth every penny. This is a style that never goes out of fashion, so it is definitely an investment piece. I couldn’t locate one in the auction houses website, although they do pop up occasionally (like 1 every 6 months), and usually are in the range of $4k to $9k.

For those of you who don’t care for the exotic version, stop off at eluxury. The fresh new Twin tote in leather retails for $1,630. Very reasonable when compared to the exotic version. Plus the style is classic, one that will last years with out being “so last season”. Right Fendi only has the black style out and in stock over at fabulous online fashion boutique eluxury. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for other colors… or even a croc-embossed version (how budget friendly would that be for those of us who want the crocodile-print look, without the exotic price tag?)

The newer Fendi Twin tote shares all the similar features as it’s relative, the true-vintage. Same characteristics, size, hardware, capacity, etc. Dressed in smooth grained leather, accessorized with polished metal hardware, and features double rolled leather handles with double signature “f” link attachments (4.5″ drop, perfect for arm or shoulder wear). The mouth of the bag is an open top with a magnetic closure, which when open reveals the fine textile lining, a super spacious interior and a couple easy-access interior zipped pockets. The bottom of the bag is a flat leather base with protective metal feet. 15.5″ x 12″ x 6″ (at widest point)

Hermes Bolide Overnight Bag
Without reading the title of this article, would you have ever guessed who the infamous designer of this overnight bag is? I definitely wouldn’t have, since this bag isn’t really the designer’s brands most popular style or design. In case you haven’t yet, meet the Bolide overnight bag, by French couture brand, Hermes.

Ahh… Everyday, I dream of that day where I’ll walk into a Hermes boutique, and hours later, leave with a big and heavy orange shopping bag. Unfortunately, I am nowhere near that day. Sigh. Although this is indeed a fact, I was a bit surprised to find an authentic Hermes, for sale, online (and not on eBay). The dome shaped leather bag is indeed different in comparison to Hermes most recognizable styles (Birkin and Kelly). This bag is also an overnight bag. Ladies, if I’m spending over 8K on a handbag, it better be an everyday/every-weather handbag! I will state that I’m not fond of the leather’s color, either. Yes, I do own quite a few brown handbags, but for that kind of money (and for an Hermes) I’ll be sure to find an eye-catching color to compliment a head-turning bag.
